These terms govern your use of fmze.dev, its accounts and its API (the "Service"). "We", "us" and "our" mean the operator of fmze.dev. "You" means anyone who uses the Service. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.
1. The Service
The Service lets you view data from the Litecoin blockchain, broadcast transactions and, where we grant access, use an API. It is provided free of charge. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time, without notice and without liability.
2. Accounts
You must give a valid email address that you control and keep your password and authenticator secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and your API keys. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
3. API access
API access is granted at our sole discretion and may be refused, limited or withdrawn at any time. Each key is subject to the permissions and rate limits we set. You must keep your secret key confidential and roll it immediately if you believe it has been exposed. Wallet features are offered only to accounts we approve and may be subject to separate terms.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to harm others;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its server or other users' accounts or data;
- interfere with or overload the Service, or circumvent rate limits or other restrictions;
- scrape or copy the Service in a way that degrades it for others.
If you find a security problem, please report it through our contact form.
5. Blockchain transactions
Litecoin transactions are final and cannot be reversed. You alone are responsible for any transaction you create, broadcast or send through the Service, including its addresses, amounts and fees. We have no control over the Litecoin network and cannot cancel, change or recover any transaction.
6. No advice
Nothing provided through the Service is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset.
7. Third-party data
Blockchain data comes from our own Litecoin node. Prices, mining pool names and pool logos come from third parties. Such information is shown as received and may be incomplete, delayed or incorrect.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free of errors, or that any data will be accurate or complete.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or digital assets, arising out of or in connection with the Service or these terms, however caused; and
- our total liability for all other claims arising out of or in connection with the Service or these terms is limited to 50 euros.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for loss caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects the rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
10. Indemnity
If you use the Service for business purposes, you agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Service.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account, or revoke your API keys, at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms or if needed to protect the Service or others. Sections 5 to 10 and 13 continue to apply after your use ends.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms to reflect changes to the Service, the law or our practices. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change materially affects account holders, we will notify them by email before it takes effect. If you continue to use the Service after a change, you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the EU Member State in which the operator is established. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
14. General
If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours to a successor operator of the Service. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service, unless we agree separate terms for a specific feature.
15. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through our contact form.
